OUR STORY

At an expo in Rochester, MN on Nov. 16, 2023, we first met John and Toni from Heart.

They had a booth right across the aisle from us.  This was our first introduction to Heart,

For some reason, we just connected well and prayed for each other.  The Holy Spirit was in it.  We exchanged contact information and parted ways.

So now time passes by and the Heart Ministry just would not leave my mind.  I contacted Toni and drove to Shakopee for a visit to see first-hand what they were doing.  I was in awe of the Heartland distribution center, but what broke my heart was the community give away at Heart Response.

I sat with a prayer team of about 30 people.  Then the doors opened and the people streamed in.  Broken, hurting and in need they came.  They were loved, prayed for and then given personal shoppers to take them with shopping carts to shop for all their needs, FREE.

I sobbed from the depths of my HEART and just knew I had to do this too.  The Holy Spirit gripped my heart in such a way that there was no turning back. I had felt the LOVE OF JESUS for these people and knew for the first time the depth of the Love of God for the needy.
